Kari Race practices primarily in the areas of medical and dental malpractice, lender liability and general civil litigation.

Kari has successfully defended many cases at both the trial court and appellate levels. For example, she and Shareholder Paul Erickson recently obtained a favorable result before the Wisconsin Supreme Court on behalf of a financial institution client, resulting in the reversal of a $600,000 jury verdict. See Town Bank v. City Real Estate Development, LLC, 2010 WI 134. 

Prior to joining Gutglass, Erickson, Bonville & Larson, S.C., Kari served as a staff attorney to the Honorable Clare Fiorenza and the Honorable John DiMotto in the civil division of Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
